Research interests

With a background in history, I have a wide interest in Danish and Scandinavian sport history ranging from Norwegian ice hockey to Danish football. I am also interested in youth history, culture, and especially the history of the scout movement.

My interest in contemporary sport revolves around sport events and their role and position in the Nordic countries. I have among other things worked with the emergence of event policies, event innovations such as “SM-veckan”, and the relation between sport events and politics.
