    I avhandlingen presenterar doktorand Christopher Engdahl de didaktiska överväganden i svensk idrottslärarutbildning när det gäller undervisning i skapande dans till idrottslärarstudenter. Han har även undersökt hur idrottslärarstudenter kan uttrycka och uppleva skapande dans, och nya idéer om rörelseutforskande i skapande dans.
