I arbetsuppgifterna ingår förutom undervisning, forskning och samverkan även utvecklingsarbete, administration, och kompetensutveckling. Undervisningen omfattar dessutom handledning, examination, kursutveckling, planering och utvärdering, sker i huvudsak i ämneslärarprogrammet med inriktning mot gymnasieskolan, men förekommer också i andra program och kurser efter behov.
