Torun Mattsson has a doctorate in sport sciences with a focus on pedagogy. Her research interests include dance studies, sports studies and education studies. Particular focus is directed towards aesthetic perspectives, meaning-making and experiences of movement. Since 2022, she is deputy dean at the Faculty of Learning and Society with special responsibility for educational issues. In that role, she leads the faculty's education council.
