Call for Papers | “Athlete Mental Health and Olympic Performance” | Special Issue of International Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology. Call ends December 15, 2020
The aims with this special issue call are (a) to augment theoretical understanding related to Olympic athlete mental health broadly defined, (b) to encourage diverse methodological approaches through which scholars and practitioners might better understand this important topic, and (c) to provide strong practical solutions that can contribute to the advancement of this topic in the field, through novel, internationally diverse solutions.

Detta omfattar bland annat att bedriva egen forskning, initiera nya forskningsprojekt och att aktivt arbeta med ansökningar för att erhålla extern finansiering. Forskningen bör i första han ha en inriktning mot idrott och fysisk aktivitet samt bidra till att utveckla institutionens verksamhet. Arbetsuppgifterna förutsätter närvaro på arbetsplatsen.

Institutionen för psykologi söker 1-2 universitetslektorer i psykologi, med inriktning mot idrott och fysisk aktivitet. Anställningen omfattar dels undervisning inom de två psykologiprogrammen, tränarprogrammet och på fristående kurser som kräver kompetens inom ämnesområdet, dels forskning och utvecklingsarbete inom området. Behörigheten avser ämnesområdet idrottspsykologi med inriktning mot idrott och fysisk aktivitet eller motsvarande.

The focal aim of this dissertation project centers on understanding the importance of some of the underlying factors responsible for the socialization of achievement motivation in youth sport and its affective outcomes. Furthermore, the project focuses on the specializing stage of development, more specifically, student-athletes attending a compulsory school with a sports profile.
