The course will emphasize how the individual doctoral student can improve their scientific skills in order to carry out their own research projects and participate in public and academic debates in relation to sport studies, thereby offering the potential to have a significant impact upon society. The course is particularly intended to stimulate ethical, innovative and creative perspectives on sport and culture, while at the same time realizing the responsibility and autonomy of being a researcher.

The first aim of this special issue is to bring in conceptual discourses generated in Chinese contexts that open up new spaces for theorising and critical thinking about HPE in languages beyond English. The second aim is to build and connect academic discussions on pedagogic, policy and curriculum approaches from Chinese HPE teachers local and abroad to elicit new experiences and fluid subjectivities and dialogues between the global and local and East and West.

This book seeks to provide current and future sport academicians with a wide array of pedagogical practices to help move the academic discipline forward, addressing the diverse and global nature of a changing world, industry, and academic landscape. The work is intended to support the knowledge and deepening of a wide array of teaching techniques to meet the changing needs of the industry and to provide platforms that resonate with a variety of teaching and learning styles.  

The successful candidate will be expected to document extensive research from the field of developmental psychology with pedagogical relevance to PE and PE Teacher Education. We are looking for a professor who has an excellent track record in research designed to help children and youth reach their full potential in general, and in the areas of self-worth, self- perception, resilience, needs satisfaction, and emotional well-being in particular.

I ansökan formulerar den sökande en forskningsplan där genusperspektiv anläggs i relation till de pedagogiska processer som studeras inom något av institutionens sex prioriterade områden.

Our institute seeks an ambitious professor who is expected to have strong credentials in the academic disciplines in question. As an active researcher, the appointee should be engaged in national/international grant applications, scientific publication and dissemination, research-based teaching, development of new courses or contributing to existing courses at all three levels of university education, supervision of students, mentoring of young researchers, and research leadership roles.

The scholarship of teaching and learning of biomechanics encompasses a very wide variety of topics. Papers focused on innovative biomechanics education and outreach efforts will be considered across all scales, including: global or national initiatives; community partnerships and programs; interdisciplinary university programs; biomechanics curriculum; specific course structure or approach; teaching pedagogies; and learning innovations.
