Strategies: A Journal for Physical and Sport Educators is a peer-reviewed professional journal that publishes practical, how-to articles for sport and physical education professionals at all levels. The journal provides information to help educators and coaches become more effective in their work.

Undervisning sker på grund- och avancerad nivå inom olika utbildnings­program samt fri­stående kurser och uppdragsutbildningar. I tjänsten ingår undervisning inom idrottslära med särskilt fokus på fri­luftsliv; och då specifikt inom simning, orientering, skidåkning, samt friidrott. Därtill kan undervisning inom den utbildningsveten­skapliga kärnan och verksamhets­förlagd utbild­ning samt handledning ingå.

Anställningen riktar sig mot utbildning av lärare inom ämnesområdet idrott och hälsa men också mot forskning inom samma område. I arbetsuppgifterna kring undervisningsinsatserna ingår undervisning, handledning och examination på grund och avancerad nivå, utbildningsplanering samt utvecklingsarbete.

The purpose of the Journal of Teaching in Physical Education is to communicate national and international research and stimulate discussion, study, and critique of teaching, teacher education, and curriculum as these fields relate to physical activity in schools, communities, higher education, and sport.

Sport, Education and Society encourages contributions from social scientists and educationalists studying the relationships between pedagogy, ‘the body’ and society as well as from all professionals with theoretical and empirical interests relating to policy, curriculum, social inclusion, equity and identity, and progressive educational development in physical activity, health and sport. Special Issue: Researching Education within Sport for Development.

The purpose of Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy is to provide a forum for high quality educational research for a national and international readership. We intend this research to have a high impact on both policy and practice. We accept for review papers on a broad range of physical activities.

John Kazungu disputerar torsdagen den 7 april, World Health Day, i pedagogik vid Institutionen för idrottsvetenskap, Linnéuniversitetet. Avhandlingen behandlar ämnet idrott och hälsas status och legitimitet i Tanzania och globalt.
