Paul Sjöblom är docent och lektor i idrottsvetenskap vid Gymnastik- och idrottshögskolan i Stockholm. Hans forskningsområde är idrottspolitik och samhällsstyrning, speciellt inom kommuner och inom idrottsmiljöer och idrottskulturer, speciellt avseende idrottsanläggningar och idrottsföreningar.
