Øyvind Førland Standal is professor of sports pedagogy. He is a trained physical education teacher and is particularly interested in adapted physical activity and physical learning. In 2009 he defended his thesis at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences entitled Relations of meaning. A phenomenologically oriented case study of learning bodies in a rehabilitation context.
