Robert Svenssons syfte med avhandlingen är att undersöka den svenska manliga elitfotbollstränarens skiftande position i relation till förändrade förhållanden för elitfotboll mellan 1960 och 2010. Historien om den svenska fotbollstränaren analyseras utifrån det foucaultska perspektivet på styrning.

There has been a noticeable upsurge in the scholarship on protest and sport, and this volume will compliment and expand on them to highlight the various ways that sport and sporting spaces have been used and their impact on social, political, and economic issues in and around the Black Atlantic and African Diaspora. The current volume will bring these various sporting protests into conversation.

Perspectives on the History of Higher Education is pleased to announce the Call for Papers for Volume 34 to be published in 2020 on “Athletics and Sports in American Colleges and Universities.” Intercollegiate athletics have helped shaped American higher education since the late 19th century and has a tremendous impact on the modern college and university.

The Swedish Association of Sports Historians (SVIF) publishes a yearbook, Idrott, historia & samhälle (Sports, History & Society) which is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal of sport history, published in Sweden for the Scandinavian market and beyond. We publish articles in English as well as in Scandinavian languages.

Svenska idrottshistoriska föreningens (SVIF:s) årsskrift Idrott, historia och samhälle är ett vetenskapligt forum för idrottshistoria i Norden. ”Historia” kan tolkas brett och tidskriften välkomnar bidrag inom områden som rör sport, kroppskultur, hälsa, friluftsliv, media, genus och andra samhällsvetenskapliga och humanistiska ämnen med historiskt perspektiv.

The mission of Kinesiology Review is to advance the field of Kinesiology by publishing evaluative, insightful, and integrative scholarly reviews of kinesiology research, both basic and applied. Kinesiology Review encourages the submission of critical reviews, analysis of significant issues, position papers, and synthesis articles pertinent to kinesiology.

Sport History Review encourages the submission of scholarly articles, methodological and research notes, and commentaries. Because young scholars are critically important to the development of any discipline, SHR encourages graduate students and young professionals to submit their work for publication.

This special issue will approach the field of history of fantasy sport in a broad sense. While fundamentally historical, it will also be interdisciplinary in nature, welcoming work by scholars of sport in related disciplines, including, but not limited to, communication studies, journalism, media studies, sport management, philosophy, American studies, and law.

Scholars are invited to submit sessions including three abstracts related to the main topic, or individual abstracts on a subtopic. Abstract submission is exclusively via email. A thematic session includes three papers relating to one topic.Presenters need to be an ISHPES member to present a paper, and a person can only present one paper as first author.
