Stora förändringar har skett gällande skolans styrning, idrottsvetenskap som forskningsämne, och idrottslärarutbildningens akademisering. Idrottsläraryrkets praktik verkar emellertid inte ha genomgått samma utveckling, en viss reproduktion av traditionella värden sker och det finns en osäkerhet kring vad som är idrott och hälsa-ämnets kunskapsobjekt.Det är bakgrunden till Sofia Sebelius doktorandprojekt och avhandling, som hon försvarar i en offentlig disputation vid Malmö universitet den 23 maj 2024.

Avhandlingens övergripande syfte är att bidra med kunskap om det meningsskapande som sker i pedagogiska möten med naturen i olika utbildningspraktiker. Empirin i avhandlingen består av texter i form av skolans läroplaner, filmad undervisningspraktik från I Ur & Skur-skolor, Naturskolor, friluftsinriktade folkhögskolor samt idrottslärarutbildningens friluftspraktik. Avhandlingen består av fyra delarbeten som tar utgångspunkt i ett pragmatiskt perspektiv på meningsskapande, inspirerat av John Dewey och Ludwig Wittgenstein.

Sport science is a third-cycle multi-disciplinary subject focusing on sport, exercise and physical activity. Sport science includes studies of the body and the physicaly active human being, the societal development of sport cultures and sport as well elite as in a broader perspective. In Sport science, the starting point is that physical activity and sport activities can promote health and well-being, performance and estetical experience.

Emerging Horizons is a call for AIESEP members to share how our complex and interdisciplinary research is being taken up by all of those people who have a vested interest in physical education (PE), physical activity (PA), health, physical education teacher education (PETE) and sport pedagogy. While each theme offers a distinct area of interest, we also see each theme offering an opportunity to explore the holistic nature of our work and invites all to consider how their presentations may fit within one or more themes.

The successful candidate will be expected to document extensive research from the field of developmental psychology with pedagogical relevance to PE and PE Teacher Education. We are looking for a professor who has an excellent track record in research designed to help children and youth reach their full potential in general, and in the areas of self-worth, self- perception, resilience, needs satisfaction, and emotional well-being in particular.

Our department seeks an ambitious researcher who independently and in collaboration with others can instigate, carry out and report high-quality research that can be published in recognised research channels. We welcome applicants with experience from social and human sciences. The successful candidate is expected to both conduct empirical studies and contribute to theoretical development related to physical education and physical education teacher education.

Our institute seeks an ambitious professor who is expected to have strong credentials in the academic disciplines in question. As an active researcher, the appointee should be engaged in national/international grant applications, scientific publication and dissemination, research-based teaching, development of new courses or contributing to existing courses at all three levels of university education, supervision of students, mentoring of young researchers, and research leadership roles.

Instituttleder vil ha en nøkkelrolle i NIHs videre utvikling. Dette innebærer ansvar for utvikling av instituttets forskningsvirksomhet, prosjektportefølje og studieprogrammer, kompetanse- og medarbeiderutvikling og forvaltning av instituttets ressurser. Et mål for instituttet er å styrke samarbeidet og samspillet mellom fagmiljøer samt å videreutvikle den sterke eksternfinansieringen av forskning.

Faglærerutdanningen i kroppsøving og idrettsfag er et område der det er behov for økt kunnskap. Vi vet også lite om faglærerkvalifiseringen gjennom dimensjonene "teori og praksis" i profesjonskunnskap, profesjonsutøvelse, og profesjonsutvikling. Både skole og lærerutdanninger er under fornyelse, i sammenheng med "fremtidens skole".

Inriktningen för anställningen är didaktik med ett fokus på utbildningsvetenskapliga och didaktiska aspekter av idrott. Undersökningsobjekt för studier kan vara skolämnet idrott och hälsa, föreningsidrott, motions- och rekreationsidrott, lek samt friluftsliv.
