The economic downturn and subsequent government policy reactions is arguably one of the biggest challenges facing sport and our discipline. We encourage papers that address the issue, including those from a comparative perspective, in order to illuminate the similarities and differences in sport management in its global context. Moreover, we hope to attract new theoretical findings.
