    Coaching Stories: Navigating Storms, Triumphs, and Transformations in Sport, edited by Stiliani “Ani” Chroni, Peter Olusoga, Kristen Dieffenbach & Göran Kenttä (Routledge) unveils the storms and triumphs of coaching in the form of case studies. According to Sanna Erdoğan, this is a long-awaited contribution to the field of coaching by coach educators and developers. By no means uncritical, our reviewer still deems it as paramount to scholars looking for practical considerations when discussing coaching and to people willing to change traditional norms or expand their knowledge of coaching practices.

Our reviewer is sport psychology professor Henrik Gustafsson. He would have loved to read this book as an undergraduate student and coach in cross-country skiing; as a professor he contends that this is the book to go to for insights about stress in sport.
