The Sport, Exercise, & Kinesiology Unit of ATINER was established in 1995 as an independent world association of sports scholars. Its mission is to act as a forum where academics in the field from all over the world can meet and exchange ideas on their research. The aim of the conference is to bring together academics and researchers to present on sports topics within broad streams of research areas.

The Congress will focus on a wide range of themes related to exercise and the sport sciences, including sports management, sports psychology, Olympic education, physiology, social issues in sport, public health issues, sports pedagogy, physiology of emergency forces, social issues in sport,  and sport nutrition, among others.

We will be happy hosting researchers, educators, graduate students and professionals from all over the world to present papers at the Physical Education, Sports, Recreation and Dance Symposium in İstanbul, one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Qualitative research in sport and exercise is growing. It is also increasingly celebrated for what it can offer academics, students, practitioners. This conference is dedicated to promoting empirical inquiry, advancements in qualitative methods and debates about methodology, theory, presentation and practice.

This symposium aims to bring together a community of scholars and practitioners from a wide range of disciplines who are interested in exploring the significance and meaning of sport within modern societies and who would like to make a contribution to an inter-disciplinary understanding of sport in the twenty first century.

This conference is aimed at everyone interested in sports science research and development in the fields of education, psychology, health, sport, society and adapted physical activity. The theme for the conference is ‘The Double-Edged Sword of Sport: Health Promotion Versus Unhealthy Environments’.

Sports evolve over time, new technology and science play a pivotal role in these changes by providing athletes and coaches with important information about nutrition and training. It also helps in analyzing this information, which ultimately enhances athletic performance in sports. ISCASS is dedicated to the study of current challenges and future focused ideas in physical sports, sports education and its applied science.

The congress aims to bring together the French and international scientific community of sports, within the field of physical activity and human motor skills, and to allow for interaction, communication and multidisciplinary scientific exchange at the highest level.
