Interested scholars and practitioners are invited to submit sport business research proposals for consideration as either an oral (20 min) or poster presentation. Completed research studies are invited as well as works in progress, to be completed by the conference date.

Join us at the ‘Home of Cycling’ in Cambridge, New Zealand for a one-day symposium to discuss the challenges and potential of cycling. The symposium will also offer a half-day pre-fix event with a tour of the Home of Cycling, ‘Have a Go’ velodrome track session, and welcome drinks.

The conference theme engages in questions and considerations of borders, borderlands, and border work to explore the ways in which sports both materially and discursively constitute and are constituted by, in, and through myriad borders

To mark the ongoing exhibition at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery: Playing for Scotland: The Making of Modern Sport, we are teaming up to present a one-day conference on Scottish sport’s historic and contemporary relationship with the arts, broadly defined.

The 7th International Sport Business Symposium calls for research papers directly related to the business of the Olympic Games in particular the Youth Olympic Games; the upcoming 2016 Lillehammer Youth Olympic Winter Games, as well as prior and future Olympics, and Paralympic Games.

The organisers are keen to encourage as wide a range of submissions as possible. In previous years papers have covered aspects such as pedagogy, history, philosophy, sociology and law, among others, and it is the intention of this year's conference to keep all options open.

We seek abstracts of no more than 500 words from persons interested in participating in the II Congress of History and Sport. Please include three key words related to your proposed paper, a brief curriculum vita, academic affiliation and contact information.

This conference will attempt to historicize the Pan-American Games and the narratives, policies and legacies they have promoted over the years. It will feature papers from an international array of scholars, as well as a session on Toronto 2015.

The congress aims to bring together the French and international scientific community of sports, within the field of physical activity and human motor skills, and to allow for interaction, communication and multidisciplinary scientific exchange at the highest level.
