The third iteration of the biannual international coaching conferences organised by the MMU Cluster for Research into Coaching (CRiC) takes place in Crewe, Cheshire, England over the 9th and 10th September 2015. This event has previously attracted all the leading UK scholars researching into coaching, as well as colleagues from abroad, and has provided an important platform for dissemination and networking. It has also proved a successful medium through which postgraduate students working in the area can gain widespread exposure. Selected papers from the conference are published in a special edition of Sports Coaching Review.

As always, the organisers are keen to encourage as wide a range of submissions as possible. In previous years papers have covered aspects such as pedagogy, history, philosophy, sociology and law, among others, and it is the intention of this year’s conference to keep all options open. In addition, the organisers are keen to incorporate practitioner experiences and observations into the schedule alongside the perspectives of administrators and other interested parties such as sports scientists. Presentations will be 20 minutes with 10 minutes of questions. Panel submissions are welcome.

Abstracts (350 words max) and a short biography (100 words max) should be sent to Dave Day at D.J.Day@mmu.ac.uk by Friday 17th April.

Please pass on to any of your colleagues who might be interested.

Any queries or observations should be directed to Dave.
