For the first time, four Nordic institutions for higher education have developed a common Nordic Master in Friluftsliv (Outdoor studies). The studies are full-time for a two-year period. The program provides knowledge about health perspectives related to outdoor life, green urban environments and a strengthened ability to understand and experience nature. The program is in English and starts in the fall of 2020.

This program is designed to prepare students to work in management positions in the sport and sport-related industry. It intends to convey a solid understanding and knowledge about sport management as it is practiced globally. Students are introduced to legal, ethical, economical, organizational, historical, political, and psychological topics necessary to meet the demands of this growing industry.

This M.A. program is designed primarily for graduates of sports, social sciences and humanities who have a strong interest in the political, cultural, economic and social aspects of sport. Aiming at a comprehensive understanding of structures, actors and conflicts in sport and physical activity, it provides an international focus on sport, including transnational and comparative dimensions.

The programme offers an international classroom environment and brings together students from different backgrounds and experiences. This allows students to deepen their knowledge and gain an overview based on the academic backgrounds and practical experience of other students, and they will be able to work transculturally in their future professions. 

This two-year master’s programme is tailored for those who have undergraduate experience in sports science, physical education, health science and management. The programme gives you the advantage of being schooled in the latest theories and the opportunity to apply these theories and concepts to real-life projects and challenges through individual assignments and group projects. 

Sport Business Management is for students who are passionate about sport and who want to gain management and leadership skills in this expanding and exciting industry.
