Welcome to the 23rd EASM Conference in Dublin, Ireland, from 9 to 12 September 2015. On offer is an exciting programme centred on the conference theme of Sport Management in the Digital Age. The brave new digital world poses questions about what sport is and how it is accessed.

Countries in the MENA region are using sport as a means of promoting economic, commercial and industrial development; as a means of promoting active lifestyles and good health; and as a means of fostering social cohesion and the generation of a shared national identity e.g. Qatar through its 2030 Industrial Vision.

EASM invites sport management scholars to organize workshops on various sub-themes of sport management. The conference theme in 2015 will be Sport Management in the Digital Age, and to that end, EASM encourages particularly workshops proposals that connect to that theme.
