The 24th Conference of the European Association for Sport Management takes place in Warsaw, Poland on 7-10th September 2016 bringing together academics, researchers, students and practitioners in the area of sports management.

The conference programme is centered on the theme of Memories and identities in sport management in Europe. The rising interest in memory and identity studies has affected a wide range of disciplines including sport management. The organizers believe that the conference will give a huge opportunity to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western Europe in the field. The main of the conference is to contribute to the growth of the discipline by opening up new avenues of research and encouraging further academic and practitioners’ collaboration.

The EASM 2016 program with scientific and professional practice abstract/paper presentations will consist of the following session types:

  • Keynote sessions
  • Topical sessions (abstracts only)
  • Workshops (abstracts and/or papers where specified)
  • Poster presentations (oral) (abstracts only)

Paper submission

EASM cordially invites you and your colleagues/peers to submit a scientific or practical abstract/paper or poster to be considered for presentation at the conference. The format for all abstract submissions may be found at Submission Guidelines.

Young researchers are invited to submit a scientific paper for the New Researchers Award (NRA).
