Svensk idrottsforskning fyller 50!
Sedan historikern Jan Lindroth disputerade med sin avhandling om idrotten som folkrรถrelse 1974 har det gรฅtt ett halvt sekel, och sรฅledes firar svensk idrottsforskning sitt femtioรฅrsjubileum 2024. Under perioden har idrottsvetenskap vuxit fram som ett nytt utbildnings-, forsknings- och forskarutbildningsรคmne. Idag finns det idrottsvetenskapliga institutioner eller motsvarande vid tio lรคrosรคten, och fem av dem har forskarutbildning. Forskningsรคmnena, som frรฅn bรถrjan var pedagogik, historia och psykologi, omfattar idag รถver trettio olika รคmnesdiscipliner.

I vรคlfรคrdsstater runt om i vรคrlden, sรฅvรคl som i Sverige, รคr likvรคrdighet ett centralt mรฅl โ men vad betyder och innebรคr egentligen likvรคrdighet? The PhD story: Life before becoming a PhD student at the Department of Sport Sciences at Malmรถ University
There is limited knowledge about PhD studentsโ backgrounds and how these backgrounds affect their research, particularly in sport sciences. This study aims to contribute with knowledge about the backgrounds of sport sciences PhD students by investigating whether their backgrounds affect both becoming PhD students and how they conduct their research.The study descriptively presents PhD studentsโ stories about their backgrounds and explores whether there are general themes in these stories.
