Four years post publication, Sport and Society in the Global Age by Timothy Marjoribanks and Karen Farquharson (Palgrave Macmillan) is still obligatory reading for those students at the University of Gloucestershire that are fortunate enough to have Malcolm MacLean as their teacher.
