The overall theme of this year’s conference pertains to the role of sport in athlete and societal growth. The pursuit of this theme relates directly to the mission of ASWIS by promoting the practice, research, and policy skills of social workers and how to leverage these skills to promote the well-being of athletes of all ages and backgrounds.

The UKSDN is passionate about encouraging practice informed research and research informed practice. We are inviting submissions for papers and posters to be presented at the UKSDN 2018 conference. Presentations will last for a maximum of 10 minutes and will form part of a convened discussion to stimulate critical, forward-thinking conversations.

Under the Theme “All around development of young children through sport”, the Forum is aimed to promote the development of sport for young children, to promote quality research on sport for children, and build a bridge for cultural and academic exchanges between China and other nations.

As the leading association for sport marketers, the Sport Marketing Association is dedicated to developing mutually beneficial relationships between professionals, academicians, and students around the world through the creation, distribution, and implementation of sport marketing knowledge via networking, scholarly activities, and career opportunities.

The Congress will focus on a wide range of themes related to exercise and the sport sciences, including sports management, sports psychology, Olympic education, physiology, social issues in sport, public health issues, sports pedagogy, physiology of emergency forces, social issues in sport,  and sport nutrition, among others.

Sport has been proposed as a potential facilitator for ‘integration’ and ‘social inclusion’ of migrant populations into hosting countries. In this workshop, we welcome papers that are investigating the field of sport and physical activity through a critical lens, highlighting the challenges within existing traditions and working towards inclusive and participatory practices.

Our aim is to bring together sport and exercise psychology researchers and practitioners whose work focuses on social justice and praxis, marginalized communities, participants lacking scholarly attention, or that falls outside the positivist mainstream of sport psychology. The Symposium will consist of sport and exercise psychology research and praxis presentations.

Scholars, researchers, students, and interested professionals are invited to submit abstracts for conference presentations. Papers in the areas of history, sociology, anthropology, philosophy, political science, cultural studies, and sport management, as well as other disciplines that contribute to our cultural understanding of the Games are particularly encouraged.

Three topics will be in focus: a) High performance, b) Health and Innovation, c) Sport sciences. Thus, we expect the Conference to provide an excellent possibility to discuss interdisciplinary perspectives on health and racket sports focusing on keywords such as adapted physical activity, promotion, prevention, treatment and evaluation.

The International Association for the Philosophy of Sport invites the submission of abstracts to be considered for presentation at the 46th annual IAPS meeting. Abstracts are welcome on any area of philosophy of sport (broadly construed), including metaphysics, epistemology, aesthetics, and ethics, and from any theoretical approach, including analytic philosophy and critical theory.
