Call for Papers | “Sports Marketing, Journalism, Communications and Sponsorship: Current trends and perspectives”, III International SPRING Conference | University of Malaga, February 20–21, 2025. Call ends September 30, 2024

We are delighted to announce that the third full Sport and Politics Research International Network, SPRING, Conference will be hosted by our colleagues at the University of Malaga next February. We envisage that this will be an in–person event. The theme of the conference is Sports Marketing, Journalism, Communications and Sponsorship; Current trends and perspectives.

Abstracts and proposals (300 words maximum) are cordially invited on this theme, but are also welcome on the following topics:

      • Sport and Cultural Identity
      • Current debates on Sport and Globalisation
      • The marketing of ‘Minority Sports’
      • Sport, Nationalism and Propaganda
      • Gender, Marketing and Sports

Abstracts, together with your affiliation, should be sent to springsportnet@gmail.com before the September 30th, 2024.

Registration details, and all other details will be posted on the SPRING website in due course. Please feel free to circulate this CFP across other platforms and other interested parties.
