The steering committee is elighted to announce that the third full SPRING Conference will be hosted by our colleagues at the University of Malaga next February. We envisage that this will be an in–person event. The theme of the conference is ‘Sports Marketing, Journalism, Communications and Sponsorship; Current trends and perspectives’.

The SPRING network launches a series of webinars dedicated to sport, politics, and communication. The first session, titled “The battle for the petrodollars: Qatar and Saudi Arabia,” features keynote speaker Danyel Reiche, professor at Georgetown University in Qatar. This will be followed by a roundtable discussion with renowned experts in the field internationally: Xavier Ginesta, Jim O’Brien, Russell Holden, and Nazrin Wilkinson.
