The International Sport Management Conference (ISMC) will be held for the third time in the beautiful and historic city of Budapest, Hungary. The conference, organized by Dr. Janos Vaczi, will held on February 10–11, 2016, and offers sessions for both practitioners and academicians. While the previous two conferences had sessions mainly directed toward working professionals, this third conference will include practitioner and scholarly presentations.
Thus, this notification is a call for presentation abstracts for the 2016 ISMC. An invitation for submissions is extended to those exploring sport management topics – ranging from marketing and finance to event management and communication. Completed studies, conceptual pieces, scholarly commentaries, as well as works in progress are welcome. Session formats include oral presentations, poster presentations, and panel discussions. Please submit the title of the presentation as well as the author(s) and an abstract of no more than 500 words to Dr. Paul M. Pedersen (Indiana University-Bloomington, USA), who can be reached at ppederse@indiana.edu. The deadline for submissions is September 30. After the review process, notifications of acceptances will be sent no later than October 30.
