Abstract Submissions for Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) 2014 Conference Presentations now open. Deadline: February 15, 2014
The 29th Annual Conference of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) will be held October 15-18, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada. We invite all AASP members to submit conference abstracts by Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. PT. The program will consist of pre-conference continuing education workshops, invited keynote addresses, symposia, workshops, lectures, and poster sessions. Abstracts addressing the scientist-practitioner perspective are strongly encouraged.

Travel Awards
The AASP Foundation will be offering Travel Awards for student members who wish to attend the AASP 2014 conference to present their work. Sponsored by Taylor & Francis, 10 awards, at $750 USD each, will be available. Any student member wishing to submit an abstract for Travel Award consideration must check the appropriate box on the online abstract form and submit no later than February 15, 2014. Applicants must be the first author of the abstract.
Young Researcher Award
The AASP Foundation will be offering a scholarship for graduate students or early career scholar members who wish to attend AASP 2014 to present their work. Sponsored by Human Kinetics, a single $1,000 USD award will be available. Any graduate student or Early Professional member wishing to submit an abstract for Young Researcher Award consideration must check the appropriate box on the online abstract form and submit no later than February 15, 2014. Applicants must be the first author of the abstract.
Please note the following requirements for the 2014 abstract submission process.
- AASP members are required to renew their 2014 membership prior to submitting an abstract online.
- All submission presenters must be active AASP members.
- All presenters must be identified on abstract submissions.
- There is no limit to the number of abstract submissions that you may submit. However, due to space limitations, the Conference Planning Committee will accept only one first author abstract per member.

Continuing Education Proposal
Members interested in submitting a continuing education proposal should send the proposal to the Continuing Education Committee Chair, Dana Voelker at voelkerd@gmail.com. All proposals must be submitted by March 5, 2014.
