The Malmö 2018 conference theme is “Managing Sport in a Changing Europe”. To that end, submissions that particularly, but not exclusively, relate to the conference theme are encouraged. Contributors have the opportunity to present in Parallel Sessions, Workshops, and attractive Poster Sessions during the conference.

The Scientific Committee of the EASM 2018 Conference invites sport management scholars and practitioners to organise Workshops on various sub-themes of sport management at our upcoming conference. The conference is organised by the Department of Sport Sciences, Malmö University, in cooperation with the European Association for Sport Management (EASM).

The workshop will highlight issues and subjects related to integration, migration and multiculturalism. In this matter, sport is expected to play a significant part in relation to migration, culture and integration. Consequently, the proposed theme of the workshop is related to the present European situation, with a considerable amount of immigrants and refuges.

The Scientific Committee of the 25th EASM Conference 2017 invites scholars and practitioners to submit abstracts to be considered for presentation. Additionally, the Scientific Committee welcomes short papers to be considered for the EASM Best Conference Paper Award 2017 and for the EASM New Researchers Award 2017 for young scientific scholars.

The European Association for Sport Management (EASM) conference 2017 will be held in Bern, Switzerland from 2 to 8 September. The Institute of Sport Science of the University of Bern and the Swiss Federal Institute of Sport Magglingen are honoured to host this important sport management conference. The 24th Conference of the European Association for Sport Management takes place in Warsaw, Poland on 7–10th September 2016, bringing together academics, researchers, students and practitioners in the area of sports management. The conference programme is centered on the theme of «Memories and identities in sport management in Europe».
