Call for Papers: EASS2014 – “Changing Landscapes in Sport: dynamics, hybridities and resistance”

A call has been issued for presentation abstracts for the European Association for Sociology of Sport (EASS) conference in the Netherlands, which will be held from 7-10 May 2014. The conference is being organised by the Mulier Institute, Centre for Research on Sport in Society, and host Utrecht University and will cover themes such as sport policy and governance, diversity and intersectionality, sport and development, and sport and (new) media. Abstracts are due for submission on 15 January 2014 and young presenters will be in the running to win the EASS Young Researcher Award, along with the chance to have their paper published in an academic journal.
