    Henning Eichbergs recension av Irena Martínkovás och Jim Parrys antologi Phenomenological Approaches to Sport formar sig till en svidande vidräkning med den tolkning av fenomenologi som dominerar bidragen i boken. Fenomenologin, menar Eichberg, är en (idrotts-)vetenskaplig metod för studium av konkreta (idrotts-)fenomen – inte en abstrakt filosofi.
