Sport History Review encourages the submission of scholarly articles, methodological and research notes, and commentaries. Because young scholars are critically important to the development of any discipline, SHR encourages graduate students and young professionals to submit their work for publication.

The Recreational Sports Journal is the scholarly publication of the NIRSA Foundation, a nonprofit organization established to support the goals of the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association and whose purpose is to provide a source of empirical, theoretical, and applied research to the field of recreational sports.
