The PhD story: Life before becoming a PhD student at the Department of Sport Sciences at Malmö University
There is limited knowledge about PhD students’ backgrounds and how these backgrounds affect their research, particularly in sport sciences. This study aims to contribute with knowledge about the backgrounds of sport sciences PhD students by investigating whether their backgrounds affect both becoming PhD students and how they conduct their research.The study descriptively presents PhD students’ stories about their backgrounds and explores whether there are general themes in these stories.

Idrottsforskning 2018 – för en hållbar barn- och elitidrott: Rapport från Centrum för idrottsforsknings jubileumskonferens, 15-16 oktober 2018, Stockholm
Centrum för idrottsforskning (CIF), vars uppgift är att initiera, samordna, stödja och informera om forskning inom idrottens område, fyller 30 år i år. Det firades med en jubileumskonferens på Clarion Skanstull i Stockholm. Under två dagar möttes ledare, tränare, fysioterapeuter, läkare, idrottslärare, förbundsrepresentanter och forskare inom idrottsvetenskap för att diskutera barn-och ungdomsidrott samt elitidrott.
