Consequently, the possibilities for people in the urban environment to live a healthy lifestyle, and to participate in sport and exercise, are relevant like never before. We invite those interested in the study of sport and society to address issues within a wide range of classic domains and newly emerging ones.

    Call for Papers | 8th European Association for Sociology of Sport Young Researcher Award, 2016

    The aim of the award is to facilitate the integration of outstanding graduate students and young researchers into the European community of sociology of sport scholars. The award will be granted to a scholarly paper authored by a young researcher, which is deemed by a panel of judges to be of highest quality.
