Coaching Stories: Navigating Storms, Triumphs, and Transformations in Sport, edited by Stiliani “Ani” Chroni, Peter Olusoga, Kristen Dieffenbach & Göran Kenttä (Routledge) unveils the storms and triumphs of coaching in the form of case studies. According to Sanna Erdoğan, this is a long-awaited contribution to the field of coaching by coach educators and developers. By no means uncritical, our reviewer still deems it as paramount to scholars looking for practical considerations when discussing coaching and to people willing to change traditional norms or expand their knowledge of coaching practices.

Notwithstanding some shortcomings in both books, she considers them useful resources for studying the vast and multifarious field of sports coaching.

Qualitative Research in Sport, Exercise and Health is a landmark publication – it is the first international journal solely dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of qualitative research in the sport, exercise, and health sciences. Open to all qualitative approaches, QRSEH aims to be eclectic in content. It will publish refereed articles covering the diverse landscape of qualitative research.
