Intercollegiate athletics is undergoing significant changes. The NCAA is convening a constitutional convention to review potential changes to governance and enforcement, including shifting more responsibilities to conferences and institutions. The special issue is looking for submissions in the following areas: College Athlete Experience; Alternative Governance Models; Name, Image and Likeness; Conference Realignment; Crisis/Pandemic Policy Management.

This collected volume focuses on foundational ethical issues in college sports, including the fit of intercollegiate sports with the university and the question of professionalism. It will also tackle several important ethical topics that pertain particularly to college sports, such as athletes’ rights and recruitment.It brings together top scholars of sport to examine college sports and analyze the important ethical issues in college sport. We invite you to submit a proposal to contribute as well.

The goal of this special issue is to highlight and examine athlete development and experiences specific to the NCAA DIII population in an effort to expand and fill this gap in the current literature. We invite proposals for this special issue of the online, open-access journal. The special issue will serve as a forum to explore research, issues, and practical applications of best practice strategies in the development of DIII athlete well-being.
