    Dear Readers,

Welcome to Issue 91 of the sportanddev e-Newsletter!

“Magglingen is a first step in our commitment to make a better world through sport.” The 2003 Magglingen conference led to the creation of ‘The Platform’, which 10 years on continues to inform and connect the sport and development community. We celebrate this milestone with a series of special content that includes a new animation, community voices, an infographic, and an interactive timeline of key moments.

You can also find upcoming and recent events, and a chance to join one man’s S&D inspired odyssey through Europe and Africa. Football is redefined in a TEDx broadcast, the Commonwealth puts youth centre stage, and child safeguarding in sport makes progress. We have insights into sport and the post-2015 development agenda, sport promoting inclusion for children with disabilities and the critical need for African athletes to contribute to sport development in Africa. The EACCES is one such initiative that is striving to meet this need, as you can read in our final article for this series.

    Enjoy your reading,
