Call for participation | European Football Fans Congress 2014 | 3–6 July, Bosco Albergati (near Bologna) in Italy

footballThis year’s European Football Fans Congress (#EFFC) of Football Supporters Europe (FSE) at the Mondiali Antirazzisti in Bosco Albergati in Italy from 3-6 July 2014 will again be free of charge and open to all Supporters whether they are ultras, members of official fan clubs, fan initiatives or representatives of national fans organisations or just individual, non-organised supporters. The venues are also accessible for wheelchair users amongst participants.

Likewise, we are happy to welcome our fan project workers, Supporter Liaison Officers and other football representatives, fan researchers and politicians who care about supporters and are interested in an open and honest dialogue about the game we love.

We don’t want idiots who think it is O.K. to discriminate against others inside or outside our stadia because of their ethical origin, their skin colour, their gender, sexual orientation, abilities, religious beliefs or else.

NOT welcome in FSE and at the #EFFC are people who don’t want football to be a welcoming place for all people. We don’t want idiots who think it is O.K. to discriminate against others inside or outside our stadia because of their ethical origin, their skin colour, their gender, sexual orientation, abilities, religious beliefs or else. We don’t want to see any such behaviour, symbols, displays or clothing at our event.

We just want to get this straight – not because we are politically dead radical or anything the like, but simply because we think this should be common sense for all of us as fans.

With the input from our members, we put a EFFC Programme together, that should allow exchange on many common issues for fans all across Europe and beyond. We want to meet and learn from each other about shared problems and solutions for us as active supporters in modern football….and naturally, we also want to play football, have a great time and a fan festival altogether in sunny italy!

In this spirit: we are looking forward to seeing you at Bosco Albergati in Italy from 3 – 6 July!
