The International Association for the Philosophy of Sport invites the submission of abstracts to be considered for presentation at the 46th annual IAPS meeting. Abstracts are welcome on any area of philosophy of sport (broadly construed), including metaphysics, epistemology, aesthetics, and ethics, and from any theoretical approach, including analytic philosophy and critical theory.

British Philosophy of Sport Association, BPSA. is the UK organisation associated with the study of the nature and values of human movement, including the ethics and the unique values of games, play, and sport. Our purpose is to provide avenues and opportunities for those interested in philosophical issues in sport and to present their ideas and network with others.

Abstracts are welcome on any area of philosophy of sport (broadly construed), including metaphysics, epistemology, aesthetics, and ethics, and from any theoretical approach, including analytic philosophy and critical theory. Acceptance is contingent on the philosophical content of the project. Emerging scholars are encouraged to submit works in progress.

This conference hopes to continue an epistemological and paradigmatic bridge-building. We therefore seek proposals for papers to be presented at the conference. There is no set theme for the conference and the Academic Committee will consider all proposals. In the past, the range has been wide and we seek to continue this.
