This conference is intended to provide a platform for considering the social, political and cultural significance of both combat as spectacle and sport and war, without restriction of time and space. With the Royal Armouries, the national collection of arms and armour, as the backdrop, it seeks to link the latest intellectual discoveries with the benefits of working up-close with collections and artefacts.

With its origin dating back to 1960, the FISU World Conference is a core element and the academic highlight of the FISU World University Games. Within a three-day programme, the FISU World Conference creates a platform for interdisciplinary scientific exchange and stimulates research and creativity beyond the scope of academia. In 2025, the FISU World Conference will include outstanding keynotes and panelists and further provide a platform for innovative formats and engaging opportunities which are open to the general public.

The Sport&EU 19th annual conference will be organised by the University of Naples Federico II in Naples, Italy, on 30th June and 1st July 2025. The organizing committee is now open to receiving proposals for individual papers. As each year, the Sport&EU conference strives to have a distinctly multi-disciplinary character. ​Following our traditional policies of equality and diversity, Sport&EU encourages PhD students and young career academics to submit their proposals for this conference. Equally, we specially encourage female and non-binary academics to submit their proposals.

We remain committed to addressing the complex social, pedagogical, and critical aspects of coaching and athlete development. By identifying and dismantling barriers to meaningful progress, we seek to create an integrative and dynamic vision for sports coaching that truly meets the needs of modern athletes and communities.

The ASB was founded in 2011 to meet the needs and issues with the growing number of Sport Business Programs in accredited schools of business. The ASB philosophy is to create a collegial professional environment by sharing innovative and best practices in the areas of the assurance of learning models, curriculum, faculty teaching and intellectual development along with creating high-quality professional industry engagement opportunities. The School of Kinesiology and Health Studies at Queen’s University invites all those interested in socio-cultural studies of sport and exercise to join our day conference, held in the memory of our colleague Dr. Donald Macintosh (1931–1994). The conference will be held in person with COVID precautions in place. The programme will consist of several sessions of graduate student presentations, a catered lunch, and the annual Donald Macintosh Memorial Lecture.

The 2025 NYC Sport Management Symposium will be held at St. John’s University Manhattan campus in NYC's vibrant NOHO neighborhood on May 15-16, 2025. Hosted by St. John’s University, Division of Sport Management, in conjunction with COSMA and local university partners Farmingdale State College, University of Mount Saint Vincent, and Wagner College, the symposium will offer attendees the opportunity to present and discuss scholarly research on a diverse array of topics related to the sport industry.

The aim is to bring together sport and exercise psychology researchers and practitioners whose work focuses on social justice and praxis, marginalized communities, participants lacking scholarly attention, or that falls outside the positivist mainstream of sport psychology. A main purpose of this symposium is to bring together people passionate about these issues so that we can share our work as well as support and encourage each other. The symposium structure will encourage interaction and dialogue.

Over the last two decades, as the commercial side of sport has grown, there has been increased public and political interest in the way that sport is governed and regulated. This has often been due to organisational failings, allegations of corruption, issues concerning athlete welfare, increasing legal intervention into sport and the changing nature of sporting competitions, that have led many to question whether the current structures, actors and systems within the sporting environment are fit for purpose: in essence questioning the governance and regulation of sport.

This one-day conference is an event that brings together professionals and scholars in the fields of health and fitness to share ideas on the challenges and opportunities we face a quarter way through the 21st century. With new dynamics at play and issues to navigate, those working in health and fitness fields need to work together to share best practices and ideas at the forefront of our community.
