The considerable growth of interest in commerce, media and politics in the modern world and their relationship to sport in international academia has resulted in academics in various disciplines writing about sport. Sport in Society is a multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary forum for academics to discuss the growing relationship of sport to significant areas of modern life. Special issue: Sport and citizenship.

The International Review for the Sociology of Sport is a peer reviewed academic journal that is published six times each year. Its main purpose is to disseminate research and scholarship on sport throughout the international academic community. The journal publishes research articles of varying lengths, from standard length research papers to shorter reports and commentary, as well as book and media reviews.

Asia Pacific Journal of Sport and Social Science is an international peer-reviewed journal which publishes original research contributions to scientific knowledge. Articles that adopt a multi-disciplinary, inter-disciplinary or comparative approach are also welcome. Most of the articles that are published in the journal will be based on qualitative or mixed-method research. However, consideration will be given to quantitative studies which are sufficiently theorised.
