Through a social justice and equity lens, Families, Sport, Leisure and Social Justice: From Protest to Progress edited by Dawn E. Trussell & Ruth Jeanes (Routledge) examines how families, sport, and leisure connect to broader social issues in society. We asked Solveig Straume, Norwegian sociologist for a review. She finds the collection an interesting read and a timely scholarly contribution, however with an unfortunate predominance of Global North perspectives.
