Den här avhandlingen handlar om likvärdighet i skolämnet idrott och hälsa. Mer precist är syftet att bidra med ny kunskap om hur likvärdighet i idrott och hälsa kan förstås, mätas och har förändrats under åren 2000–2017. I välfärdsstater runt om i världen, såväl som i Sverige, är likvärdighet ett centralt mål – men vad betyder och innebär egentligen likvärdighet? Vad är det som ska vara likvärdigt och när är skolan (tillräckligt) likvärdig? Hur kan man mäta likvärdighet och hur har likvärdigheten förändrats över tid – har den försämrats, förbättrats eller bestått oförändrad?

Scholars, researchers, students and professionals interested in the sociocultural study of the modern Olympic and Paralympic Games are invited to submit abstracts for conterence presentations. Papers in the areas of history, sociology, anthropology, philosophy, political science, cultural studies and sport management, as well as other disciplines that contribute to the cultural understanding of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, are particularly encouraged. Proposals for thematic sessions are also invited.

The objective of this IJSMS special issue is to bring together scholarship that seeks to advance our collective knowledge on diversity and inclusion in sport marketing. We acknowledge that diversity may include a myriad of characteristics that distinguish individuals and groups of people. However, this special edition focuses on diversity as it pertains to the following equity seeking groups: Race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, physical ability.

For this Special Issue, we seek theoretically and empirically sound examinations of sport, leisure, and sustainability. We conceptualize sustainability to consist of issues related to the environment, economics, and equity. 2020 has illuminated potentially unsustainable practices in sport and leisure. Flooding as a result of climate change, wild fires in the Western United States, and COVID-19.
