In an edited volume by Danyel Reiche & Tamir Sorek, Sport. Dan-Erik Andersson is pleased to find a book that shares his views on the role of sport in society, although he would have liked to see a commonality in the contributions beyond geographic locality.

Danyel Reiche undersöker i boken Success and Failure of Countries at the Olympic Games (Routledge) om man kan hitta specifika faktorer som var för sig eller tillsammans kan förklara nationella olympiska framgångar. Björn Sandahl är milt intresserad men hade gärna sett att studien, och därmed boken, varit mer ingående och omfattande.
