In this special issue of Communication & Sport, we welcome theoretical and empirical contributions that broadly address the overarching theme of “Mediating the East Asian Era of the Olympic and Paralympic Games” or specially focus on one or more of the events from the 2018, 2020 and/or 2022 Games.

For this year’s NASSS conference – as we attempt to come together in-person in the spirit of inclusivity, togetherness and community – we welcome papers on any aspect of sport and physical culture as observed through a sociological lens. We would be particularly interested to receive submissions that explore sport and physical culture related to ideas around community, reconciliation, partnerships, relationships, equity, social inclusion, diversity, participation, and the indelible human spirit.

Som forskningsassistent kommer du arbeta inom två olika forskningsprojekt: ”Röster från en stängd idrottsvärld” som handlar om idrottsutövares, idrottledares och  supportrarnas erfarenheter under corona-pandemin, samt ”Mistra sport and outdoors: Vägen tillbaka efter Corona” som handlar om vilka erfarenheter kopplade till miljöfrågor som idrotts- och friluftsutövare kan ta med sig från Coronakrisen.
