The Finnish Sports Law Association is pleased to host the eighth traditional Nordic Sports Law Seminar in the central Helsinki. The seminar will be bringing together leading Nordic sports law professionals, academics and enthusiasts and this is a great way to share information and stay up to date on relevant issues that impact sports law as well as establish and maintain networks with international professionals.
Helsinki Nordic Sports Law Seminar 2017 is a two-day seminar from Friday 27th to Saturday 28th of October. We have a strong line-up of speakers with interesting and current topics. The first day of the seminar is followed by a Welcome Reception by the City of Helsinki and a Gala dinner.

Participants are responsible for their own accommodation and are expected to arrange it by themselves.
You are welcome to choose any accommodation, but we have negotiated special prices for seminar participants in Crowne Plaza Helsinki, which is the seminar venue:
Seminar participants get the following discounted prices by using the reservation code: HNSLS2017. The discount is valid according the availability of rooms in the quota.
Single: 120 € / room / night
Double: 135 € / room / night
The room prices include VAT, a buffet breakfast and use of gym and sauna
Please note that there is a limited number of rooms in the quotas that have been reserved for the seminar participants, and therefore an early booking is recommended. City of Helsinki is pleased to invite all participants to a Welcome Reception on Friday 27.10. from 18.00 to 19.00 at Vanha Raatihuone, Empiresali (Aleksanterinkatu 20, Helsinki)
The Finnish Sports Law Association will organise a dinner on Friday 27.10. at 19:30 at Restaurant Töölönranta (Helsinginkatu 56, Helsinki). Dinner venue is just a five-minute walk from the seminar venue.
The seminar will be held in English.

Registration fee is 340 EUR per person.
The registration fee includes full participation in the seminar programme, all seminar materials, 2 x lunch and refreshments during coffee breaks, Welcome reception and Gala dinner.
An invoice will be sent to your billing email address soon after your registration. The fee has to be paid within the given period. Payment can be made by a bank transfer. Please make sure to include the invoice reference and the name of the participant when making the payment.
Please note that your registration will only be complete once we have received the payment. Your registration will be confirmed when your payment has been received.
Terms of cancellation and refunds
If the participation at the seminar is cancelled in writing on or before 15 September 2017, 75 % of the registration fee will be refunded. No refunds will be made after that of for no-shows.
Substitutions may be made at any time. In that case the registration information shall be updated by contacting email@example.com prior to the event.
The organisers of the seminar reserve the right to cancel the event or to make amendments to the event programme, including the timing of the programme and the speakers. In the unlikely event that the event should be cancelled, the fee is fully refunded. The organisers are, however, not liable for any other costs or expenses incurred by any participant.
All refunds will be handled after the seminar.
