Just in time for the publication of Mark Brooke’s review of the Routledge Handbook of Qualitative Research in Sport and Exercise, edited by Brett Smith & Andrew C. Sparkes, Routledge chose to release the paperback edition, thereby decreasing the RRP from £190 to £40 – which is good, given that the book, according to our reviewer, is a valuable tool for social and cultural science scholars in the field of sport and exercise.

Susanne Ravns och Leena Rouhiainens antologi Dance Spaces: Practices of Movement (Syddansk Universitetsforlag) kom för några år sedan, och har närmast klassikerstatus inom forskningen kring dans och rörelse, rum och plats. Torun Mattsson har haft stor behållning av boken, som hon rekommenderar också för annan rörelseförståelse, som inom idrottsforskning.

I antologin Tics, træning og tango: Bevæggrunde for bevægelse, sammanställd av Susanne Ravn och Jørn Hansen (Syddansk Universitetsforlag), diskuterar en rad idrottsforskare hur danskar kan förmås röra sig mer. Gunn Nyberg recenserar, och hon tycker att boken är uppslagsrik och tankeväckande. Men hon saknar Lars.Magnus Engströms input.

This article aims to explore how a joint rhythm is learned. The exploration is based on a combination of a case study of training in elite rowing and theoretical considerations concerning mutual incorporation of skills in learning.
