Kyle Keiderling’s new book, Olympic Collision: The Story of Mary Decker and Zola Budd (University of Nebraska Press) follows the two protagonists from childhood up to the fatal collision in the 3000m race at the 1984 Olympics. Pam R. Sailors is impressed by Keiderling’s research and writing, but warns that this is not the book for Mary Decker fans.
