Motivation theory as basis for an optimal learning environment in physical education
The Norwegian sports educator Arne Martin Jakobsen at Nord University presents in his new article some central motivation theories, of which the most important, self-determination theory (SDT) is thoroughly presented and linked to some other motivation theories to find an optimal method to create a positive learning environment in the physical education subject.
