WADA invites applications for its 2015 Social Science Target Research Grant Program on the following topics:
- How is doping influenced/countered by the globalization, medicalization, commercialization and evolution of sport?
- Look further at the gateway to doping, which would include:
- The use of supplements;
- the effects of technology; and
- the overall perceived cheating culture.
WADA’s Social Science Research Grant Program was created to ensure that preventive anti-doping education programs were designed using an evidence-based approach.

Researchers are invited to submit their applications online, in English or French, by 21 December 2015 via the WADAGrants platform.
Please note that the funding available for each of these projects is US$ 67,500.
All projects responding to the terms and conditions of this call for proposals will be evaluated by external peer-reviewers, whose recommendations will be reviewed by WADA’s Education Committee. Applicants will be notified of the results in early 2016.
