To mark LGBT history month this February, we are offering a range of discussion articles on sexuality in sport & leisure.

The collection is timely, given recent news coverage on male elite athletes ‘coming out’, the Football v Homophobia campaign and the on-going debate about laws banning ‘homosexual propaganda’ in Russia, the host country of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

LGBT history month seeks to raise awareness of human rights across all orientations and to celebrate the LGBT presence in sport. We hope the articles available below help to set the stage for your research and critical thought on gender and sexuality.
