Svensk idrottsforskning fyller 50!
A contribution to the discussion on talent identification and selection
Talent identification is about the ability to recognise potential talents in different contexts, and this has become increasingly important over the past few years since it is considered a crucial parameter for success in sport. In his review of Niels Nygaard Rossing’s and Christian Meedom Wrang’s book Talent Identification: (Un)conscious gold diggers, goldsmiths and gold creators (Aalborg University Press), Magnus Ferry finds the book to be easy yet elaborate, as well as inspirational, and thus highly recommendable.
